JEJETHRO TULL AT THE MURAT THEATRE 8/21/2003
e to add your text.
Before the concert, I had the honor of running into Andrew Giddings, who signed
my ticket (its about all I could come up with at the time) He was a really nice, and
spent a few minutes chatting, and taking pictures with fans. The Murat Theatre was
one of the smallest venues I have been in, reminding me of a high school auditorium
with a balcony. It was a great setting , and the acoustics were great!!

The opening act was "Guy Davis "(playing the blues), with his harmonica, and acoustic
guitar. He was accompanied by "Norak Roth Patterson", on the electric guitar. After a
couple of songs Guy said he wanted to introduce a special guest "Ian Anderson", and
to everyones delight, Ian hit the stage, playing harmonica on several songs, one being
"61 highway" by "Fred Mcdaniel" Guy measured up great with the audience, and proved
to be a great opening act. He has a new CD out tiltled "chocolate to the bone", of which
I purchased. I got a chance to listen to it today, and found it very good. Anyone interested
in taking a closer look at his CD, click the album cover for more info. Ian played some
blistering harmonica, and the crowd loved it.
